For full vehicle wraps or anything with sharp curves and recesses, we'd recommend a professional installer for the best finish — our knifeless tape and application tools are designed to make either approach easier.

Hand wash with a mild, non-abrasive car shampoo and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid automated car washes with rotating brushes and keep pressure washers at a distance from panel edges, since concentrated jets can lift the vinyl's edges over time.

On a vehicle with its original factory paint in good condition, correctly applied vinyl wrap can be removed cleanly with no damage — gentle heat helps soften the adhesive for a smooth peel. If your vehicle has been repainted or has existing paint damage, there's a higher risk of the wrap lifting paint on removal, so it's worth checking paint condition first.
